I don't know how different the install is between your Ford and my Chevy, but I installed my Helwig by myself in about an hour. The Big Wig wasn't out at the time but if I were in the market now, that is the bar I'd go with. I'm not much of a mechanic either, but if you can turn a wrench and follow instructions it shouldn't be a problem. And best of all, if you have any questions during the install, odds are someone here will be able to answer it.
