Any advise on loading a camper solo? I've viewed videos of using a laser, rollers attached to the bed, strings ...What are your solutions?

On my pickup, I would sight the tailgate gap on my side to load the camper. On my flat deck, I have center stripe taped to my mat and the front of the camper wall which I have to match up.

Constant checking... in and out of truck... I use the mat, I've centered the mat and then put down Duct/Gorilla tape on the corners so I know where the mat goes.I then either put on painters tape along the Bed (Flat bed, but the idea is the same - marking) First times it's in/out to verify on the mat.Then I sit in drivers seat and select a spot that I can relate to on the camper and put tape there to align it up. Trial and Error, but it gives you something to look at for reference. I'd put something in the center of the camper to use as a reference from the rear view mirror, but it's blocked.It still takes time and a few times double checking. If you're close to getting it you can 'Walk' the camper over an inch or so... Just lower the side you want to move out. Raise other side jacks (assuming you have the jacks on the ground). Camper will list a little bit at a time so it's for close adjustments.I'm sure others have techniques, pick and choose the one that works best in your case.. Some put tape down the middle of bed and camper and able to see it to align it...Not much help, but some ideas..Hope that helps..

Always took me a while...slow and careful...but I never needed DW’s help.

Always load mine alone. Not a big deal. I painted a 1/2" red line vertically on the front centered and I have a pin installed on the front bed rail that I can see looking over my shoulder. I line the pin up with the red line and back under, getting out to check the camper is square to the bed.Been doing it that way for years. No issue. The trick is making sure your camper is going in square to the bed rails.I'm sure there are more complex methods but that works for me.

I measured the distance between the outside of driver side tires and the jack feet and got a measurement. I just put a straightedge, 2x4, rope, anything and make a parallel line going out. Now I just back in with my drivers side mirror looking down at the straight line and back in along that line. Works every time.

I've got just a bit less than 2" between the camper jack and the side of the truck so when backing in I just line up with that gap on both sides then keep it that way. Slow and steady, get out and check at critical points (before the wheel well comes close to the basement of the camper and before the tailgate frame seats at the back of the camper). It takes me about 10-20 minutes from the time I start backing up to when the Fastguns are secure.

What we've discovered is by lowering the driver seatback and watching the process over the driver left shoulder (directly, without mirrors) is much more manageable.

I always load and unload myself using the mirrors. I don't use anything else to line it up. If you can't tell with the mirrors just get out and look.

I put the rear TL tie downs into their receivers, lower the side mirrors, and keep the gap between the front jacks and rear tie downs the same on both sides. From there, just back straight with frequent checking.

The key thing, at least in my experience, is to take your time, don't get in a hurry, and get rid of any distractions around you. I also try to use the same process each time I do it so I don't forget to do something. I don't use anything except my side mirrors as well. I get in and out of the truck several times to make sure everything is lined up etc. and that's really all there is to it.
It was definitely a little intimidating the first couple of times loading it but with a little practice it gets easier.

Put the truck in reverse, and back underneath. Like Kohldad I use the side view mirrors. If I'm clear and centered on the outside I'm clear and centered on the inside.
