Usually, when bed bugs bite, there will be a triangular configuration... that is, a series of three bites within relatively close proximity to each other, i.e. an inch of so away from each other. You might want to check for that formation.
Other than that, if you have a bed bug infestation, it'll take more than just washing clothes, as they can nest everywhere in everything. I think I read trhat their favorite / active temps are around mid to upper 70s... 78 or so, and are attracted to moisture, aside from blood supplies.
My memory is often faulty, so you probably should research bed bugs on the internet.
