- blofgrenExplorerI would go with OEM steps no matter what brand you choose. They will fit better and stand up better in the long term. I have had aftermarket steps and running boards on past trucks and it was a constant battle against noise, loose fasteners, and broken brackets. I have OEM on both our vehicles now (wife has an Acura MDX) and they fit perfectly with absolutely no issues.
- Grit_dogNavigatorDepends how tall the truck is and how much of a step you need.
My 07 has some individual aluminum hoop steps at each door. Very sturdy, and simple.
Without getting into the spendy retractable ones if I was getting steps for a new pickup I'd be getting the ones that look like full length rock sliders with a step welded at each door. I think those are cool looking.
Above all find some that mount up solidly and don't flex. Pretty ghetto looking with saggy cheap azz nerf bars that don't support more than a 10 year old! - Grit_dogNavigator

I going to provide some earth shattering news... All brands now provide steps from the factory. :W- wcjeepExplorerVehicle? Body configuration? Year? Electric steps are nice. Also pricey.
