There are 2 types of rv's, those that have leaked and those that are going to leak. The number one issue is water leaks and to me, with this being known it would seem that the dealer would just about do a pressure test before delivery. You can replace a water heater or frig and then have an updated appliance. When it has water damage it's trash. If a leak is caught right away damage can be avoided. It sounds like yours had a heavy dose and it may have been running down the walls and into the floor.
I would insist on a different one and tell them that you want to see it pressure tested or you want your money back or you're going to start screaming far and wide. You paid for a new undamaged rig
