I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to get the torsion bars in right, mine were originally in the wrong position, and punched the brackets completely through the roof separating from the wood. I have rebuilt the wood and reinforcing the brackets now. My question is what position should the torsion bar back corner bracket be in before you mount the torsion bar to it? when it’s fully raised with the roof off, should the Bracket be square? mine is at an angle. Mine also has no play whatsoever. Is there a spring in there or something or is it fixed? Seems like an incredible amount of pressure if it doesn’t have a spring or some sort. i can’t find any good guidance on rebuilding this system.
