I searched 235 80 17 in tires and wheels for sale by owner.
I usually look for used or takeoff tires before buying new. But I’m cheap like that. Lol

I looked after your first post but not there so maybe sold already. I really only want new.

The Nokian Rotiiva HT I think looks like a better compromise than the One tire. The Rotiiva would move more water and help prevent hydroplaning and look to be better than the One tire on the off the highway driving. The Nokian Winter tires are pretty popular around here and have been for years, certainly top shelf. The tightly spaced HT style tires do one thing really well and that is lasting a long time on asphalt. Much depends on what and how much off asphalt driving you do or plan to do. A lot of water or any mud or loose gravel make the HT tires a lesser choice.

I ran Generals on my Excursion and was very happy with them. I had the HTS and hey performed great on the highway. But I would not want them in anything more than damp grass as it is a highway tire. For what you want I would go with the APT, a bit more aggressive while still good on the highway. There is also the AT which is similar to the BFG All Terrains which I ran while towing. They performed great while towing, but the life is shortened when towing because they get worked hard. And due to the more aggressive tread the towing gas mileage dropped by about .5.

There's currently a recall on some General and Continental tires. My Cayenne SUV has Continentals, though was not on the recall list.
