Empty, my truck has right close to 3k on the rear axle. I'd imagine yours to be very similar (slightly less).
Assuming 3195lb rated tires, a 2500lb wet camper is very doable. I hauled right at 2500lbs worth of rock in the back of mine, and grossed 9900 in my 9k GVWR truck. Rear suspension was a little soggy but handled fine otherwise. With the air bags, I think you are set for that weight of camper.
