I did get bigger rims to accompany the tire; I was trying to do it right as we both know the towing community isn't always the brightest. Like a ford ranger towing a horse trailer - that was classic.
The above link says my tires are rated for 3,195. You're right, I want to stop - that's a fact and I don't need a blowout. I use to have a Ford F-250, very similar set up and never had problems for years (maybe just lucky). I was more worried about the motor not having enough balls going over hills and so forth. With a top of the line tie down system and the best airbags money can buy, I thought that would be good. What weight would you stick to for a camper? Feel comfortable towing a single axle boat in addition? Appreciate the $.02
