I will get on the Lance website and check that out. I will put a lot of hear in my boat, easier to tow than hauling it. The Lance 850 is their smallest rig for a long bed. There are many campers out there but I want quality and hopefully my budget will allow for it. ......
Don't assume that Lance is the only quality camper out there. There are several others just as good some better. The Northstar 8.5 Arrow in my sig is one.
Re weights..I carried that camper many thousands of miles on a 2001 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 gas, which is similar to your Dodge 2500. Although I was somewhat over on GVWR I was under on all the critical ratings with that combo. I have lost the weight tickets.
However I do have weight tickets for that camper on my Dodge dually so you can get some idea of just the camper weight. The camper has many factory options and AC thus adding weight. Fully loaded and wet for an extended trip the camper, stuff behind the front seats and in the wheel wells weighed in at 3300 lbs.
