Heng's Rubber Roof

Looking to coat the roof on our 39' toy hauler. I called our local dealer and they use Heng's. Has anyone had any experiences with this product? If so, how well has it held up? It looks pretty easy to put on.
  • It definitely looks a lot easier to apply then the liquid roof. In Florida it can be sunny out and a few minutes later pouring...does this have a cure period before getting wet? Or will I need to find somewhere indoors to apply? That upside to the liquid roof is it can rain right after applying.
  • Last summer we restored the roof on our 96 Southwind, 37'. I used Heng's.
It was easy to apply, no primer needed.

I washed the roof with Tide powder detergent before applying. I left it dry overnight and then applied a light coat of Heng's. After the first coat dried a second coat was applied.

It has held up well under the summer sun, wind & rain and snow/ice and freezing temps of a Pennsylvania winter.
It still looks good, eliminated black streaks and is leak free.

I bought 3 gallons and used 2 1/2 gallons to coat 30' of roof.

I'm very satisfied and would not hesitate to use Heng's again.
  • Might want to go back and read the rules ie, we're not allowed to post the same thing in multiple threads.
    Good luck!
