I've read advice in the past on this forum that "weight is weight," and the hitch is weight on the receiver just like the trailer tongue is weight on the receiver. So if you're worried about the hitch's (pro pride or hensley) weight rating, that's one thing; but I'd keep an eye on the receiver's weight rating. It takes a pretty stout, well-attached receiver to handle 1500 or 1600 lb.
