My prior TT was 31BHDS very similar to what you have.
Honestly I never was totally satisfied with the towing performance until I broke down a purchased a Hensley.
I adjusted,tested and tinkered. There was some improvement along the way but I was never satisfied/happy until I went with the HA.
However in your case based on CarringB's experience I'd be concerned with exceeding the HA's 1400# limit.
I'm not suggesting you need an HA. There are many satisfied dual cam users, hopefully one of them will chime in.
If I understand correctly with the HA and LP your TW will be about 1500-1550?
