I have always been afflicted with Wanderlust. Starting when I left High School in 75 and I bought a 72 Toyota Land Cruiser. I put over 300,000 miles cruising the back and dirt roads of the western US in it sleeping under the stars if the weather and bug cooperated. Then I owned a couple of 4runners which were great for hauling Mt bikes and camping gear. Then came the wife and horses and we needed something that could haul them us and all the gear around. Thats when the F350 Diesel Crew Cab came into play. In typical Tim the Tool Man Taylor fashion I wanted a Dually, Ruth said it was too much ( of course now we want one). Fast forward a few years of wasted hours driving back and forth to hotels over a 30 minute drive from the show grounds and sitting in fly infested hot tack rooms we saw a Lance on a Friends truck. The light went on, a few months later we bought a used Lance 1055 off craigslist and never looked back
