When DH and I started dating as 2 singles parents, I had a TT and he had a boat. We used our 2 vehicles to tow the "toys". We married and moved up to a 5er and tandem towed. That in itself can get pretty dicey at times.
After we returned from overseas we tent camped until we found the right camper. When we retired, we planned on going back to a 5er. However, after seeing how far TCs have come, we found it to be a perfect solution for our type of camping.
It's nice to be able to have everything we need and not worry about tandem towing and the length law, which was our limiting factor here in WI. We always remove the TC and have the truck to move the boat or sight see. At first, I would never have considered a TC, but am so glad we did it!
