FYI... one reason I stay tuned to these forums is because people do complain about their RV. I do keep more in-tune to Keystone Outback, since that's the one I have. But whenever someone voices a problem with their camper on these forums, I almost ALWAYS go out and check mine to see if I potentially could be experiencing the same problem or if a problem in imminent.
My Keystone Outback is now 5 years old and the roof, definately, has not blown off (yet). However, I was on top of the roof the last 2 days giving the roof a good cleaning. While up there, I also inspected all the seams, calking, joints, screws, trim, everything.
I have one more step to complete in my roof washing, and that is to get the slide out roofs. (3 of them). I'm doing them tonight after work, then the entire roof will be washed, and on Saturday, I want to treat the entire roof area with rubber roof conditioner. (one step at a time).
But, you post has stirred an interest. Even though I was just up there, since I'll be "up there" again tonight, I'm doing a deeper inspection!
Thanks for the heads-up. But so sorry about your situation. I do hope you can get it resolved.
