HITCH ON TRAVEL TRAILER

Just purchased a 2015 Flagstaff V Lite 30WRLTS and want to be able to pull my single axle 14ft trailer with generator and ATV on it behind the Travel Trailer does anyone have a similar travel trailer with pictures of a hitch attached. any information would be gladly appreciated
  • Hate to burst your bubble, but first check with state laws where you will be towing. while towing something behind a trailer is legal in a few states, the vast majority require the trailer to be a fifth wheel. Don't know if any states allow towing something behind a travel trailer.

And if it is allowed, the hitch would need to be welded to the frame, not the bumper.

And even then I suspect you would be over the maximum allowed overall combined length. States vary from as low as 55 ft on the east coast to 60-65 which is very common, to a few allowing 75ft.

with our pickup and 32ft trailer, by the time I'm hooked up I'm at 65ft with two bicycles on the back of the trailer. With my 14' cargo trailer, (overall length 19ft) I'd be over 80 ft overall!!
