The new 2014 Dodge diesel, 1 ton can tow 30,000 lbs. I would imagine you will need the dually wheels.

With all new frame, medium duty transmission option, front and rear suspension along with dual radiators and on and on with changes and upgrades, the 2013 Ram 3500 Dually is worlds apart from the 2012 Ram dually comparing apples to apples.
The 14' has same GVWR and GCWR as the 13' from what I can tell, but offers a few more options as Rick mentioned that aren't on the 13'...but weights are the same, unless something changed in the last couple day's that I'm not aware of.
