I've been in the areas Marty speaks of. Had a friend that lived on 100th Ave I think it was on the west side of Lake Washington. Treacherous on a sunny day. Downright dangerous on icy days. Around here we say "the bs stops when the tailgate drops". In Seattle they simply say "the bs stops here".
