Honda 2k and rain
Figured I would ask here since more Tc owner have them, but is my Honda 2k made to get wet in rain storms?

That's exactly where they are mounted on most motorhomes and vans,with the exhaust pointed away..
X2 - as well as TC's with Genny's hard mounted.
I don't use my Honda's much at all since I have a lot of batteries, inverter and solar, but when I do, I put mine under the slide and/or part of the truck. As far as exhaust, I just point it away like any other RV does.- I fabbed up a little house out of PVC pipe, then cut a piece of tyvek house wrap to go over the sides and top.
I didn't glue any of the fittings though, so I can break down the little house for storage. Grit dog wrote:

I use them year 'round on job sites. They are not kept under shelter. Rain or shine. They don't even get maintained, other than adding oil if the low oil sensor shuts em down!
I've found they don't run well under water! But as long as the water level is below the intake they keep running! I would not put it under the truck/camper...CO poison!

We place the H2K under the picnic tables when raining....never had a problem. They're pretty robust! - I run my Honda and Yamaha 2k's all the time in all weather, no problems.
