Just to clarify so that others don't also waste time searching for the connection between all the hyperlinks above - it appears that Electric Generator Depot is the latest name for the same business which had the bad reviews ...

Sometimes one has to take these reviews with a pinch of salt.

Don't you just love it when a company has a BAD rating for unethical business practices that they just change the name of the company and continue doing the same thing. :S

Uh oh. I purchased with my credit card through Amazon. I will see what I get. I took a screen capture and saved the page to my computer. My credit card company will back me if anything goes wrong. Thanks for the heads up.

Hopefully Honda will warranty, in the event you have a problem. Most of us go to Wise Sales.

I used Mayberry. If you are a ham radio operator you get an extra $50 off of each generator that you buy

Buy local, support a small business. Might cost a few bucks more but keep a job in your local area and if you have a problem you can drive down the street and they can take care of it.

I'd rather pay a little bit more to buy from a physical shop. That way, I can make sure the generator at least has been started and isn't DOA before it comes home with me.

Mayberry.com has been advertizing in Trailer Life - even my 1996 back issue had a ad for them.

They seem to have great prices too.
