That is strange, I have a 2012 NL with a 11,000 BTU AC and my 2000i well start it and run it here in AR, I have not needed it any place else I have been. It sure sounds like you have other things running. You might have to isolate your fridge so it is only off the batteries and not off the converter when you are on the genny.
Read the post. The frig is 12 volt only. Nothing else is running. But older 2007 A/C s pull more amps than the newer ones.
I know that it is a 12VDC (as stated in one of your earlier posts) but if it is running and drawing from the battery where do you think the batteries are going to be recharged by if the generator is running. Right from the converter and where is the power to run the converter coming from, from the generator. It is no different than when you are plugged into AC with your shore line how do the batteries get charged, from the a/c from the shore line. Now you have the shore line plugged into the generator, the converter doesn't know or care if it is shore power or generator power if the batteries call for charging it is going to use the A/C power to do it with.
I know older AC draw more power but my AC is also larger than yours.
