I have the Honda 3k and a Honda 2k. To me the 3k is a far better generator, the best I have ever owned and I've owned a bunch including the Yamaha 4k es.. The Yamaha was a good generator but wouldn't run the air over 90 degrees. I'm sure the new IS will?
Electric start on the Honda was the deal breaker for the wife. She doesn't have to yank her head of when I'm gone to start the gen.
I'm sure the Yamaha is a good one as I'm a Yamaha man from head to toe, just not in generators.
