- goducks10ExplorerShould be just fine if you have the model with the 5000 lb tow rating. I see they have a 2WD that can tow 3500 lbs. Might be pushing it a bit if you get near 3000 lbs.

Nothing about RV'ing is energy efficient, it's not practical to worry about MPG. Really it's just a brag used mostly by diesel drivers. Just assume the mileage will be awful and plan fuel stops accordingly.
That's what I noticed most when I was towing with a station wagon, the 16 gallon fuel tank didn't get me very far on each fill.
