I have been through BC a few times now and never an issue despite warnings online in forums like this that Canada will enforce non commercial truck weights by weighing RV's. So far that hasn't been an issue at all.
People tell me that here in the lower 48 I could be weighed depending on the state I am traveling. So far in 25 years traveling in US though nobody has asked me to weigh my truck and camper.
We are heading to new states soon so maybe that will change?
