That makes sense that the extra height would help with cleaning out the tank. When I was at the Host dealer checking out the 2016 Mammoth and Everest neither one I looked at had the black tank flush installed? I guess a dealer (or owner) could install it themselves?
My thought about having the black tank up high and off center in the slide was if it could cause a handling issue if someone was driving with the tank full (or even 1/2 full)? Does Host make any warnings against traveling with the black tank full? I would think most people would dump the tank before leaving a campground, but that my not be possible if you are dry camping out in the middle of nowhere.
