As I age I am looking at upgrading my Eagle Cap 1160 with either a Host Everest with its dual access to the bed area, triple seat sofa and tray accessed external storage or the EC 1165 with it's wide...

I have never heard of a storage tank in the slide.
This would place a significant load on the slide mech when extended...even a 30 gal tank could approach 300# or more!
A tank in the slide would also require "soft" plumbing...not rigid PVC.
This does not seem like a good idea at all...
