No scarier than walking around with an electric pressure washer. I can't see any reason they would ban these. Many people waste that much water and if they are using electric heaters, toasters, toaster ovens, ovens and clothes driers, those are likely to be MUCH more electricity than this little hot tub.

If more people do this electricity will be metered every where.

The people next to us here in Rockport, TX set one up last week just like the one the OP posted about. Said they paid $350 for theirs.

The "egg" water pump/heater/air pump also inflates it quite hard. You can sit on the edge and it barely flexes......I'm 190 lbs.
