I sold my class A at 7 years old with about 40 hours on the genset. Some people just don't use them much. A genset that is maintained will run 1000's of hours - I'm not sure you can wear them out with reasonable use and maintenance. Propane one should last longer than gas as propane is easier on the lubrication etc.
