Household-type motorized awning on an RV..

Dometic 9100 Power Patio Awning is $1,476. The household one is $599. I would say that's cheaper. you bring up a good point about the wind. That is one of the reasons I asked the question... "has anyone done this".

Myself I do not believe that they are much cheaper in price . I would also wonder if they would hold to be driven down the road at 70 MPH . They would also operate on 110 volts rather than 12 volts DC.
