I was in a real hurry and needed to rotate the tires on my truck, so I decided to see if these FastGun tie-downs were as strong as advertised.Son of gun (pardon the pun) if I didn't levitate the entire truck using just the camper jacks!And to you safety police, once I did get truck off the ground, I did throw a set of jack stands under it.

My Ford manual says not to rotate my duallies. Why would that be?

I don't know what all the skepticism is about -- this should work fine (well, better anyway), assuming he took the engine and transmission out first.
Doesn't everybody do that before rotating tires?

And you're assuming the TC frame can suspend the truck weight...

I think it's that new sound system with dual downward firing 7' woofers that is keeping it suspended and the jacks are just for balance.

The front two jacks in a real situation would carry almost all of the weight of the truck (6000 pounds?) plus at least half the weight of the camper. (2000 pounds?). If the load is split evenly, then each jack, which is rated at 2500 pounds I believe, would carry 4000 pounds.

What could go wrong?
