How and were to get the best price on a Truck?

I have narrowed my choices down to a one ton 3500 dually, 4x4, four door, Ford Lariat or King Ranch diesel or Dodge Laramie/Longhorn diesel. Last week I send out my specifications to several parties...

My Ford came in at invoice and my Ram under invoice before rebates were applied to either and I am happy with those prices. I had no trades or financing that muddied the numbers, so I know this is possible with either make. Both of these were factory ordered, so I would expect even more incentives on existing stock.
