How and were to get the best price on a Truck?

I have narrowed my choices down to a one ton 3500 dually, 4x4, four door, Ford Lariat or King Ranch diesel or Dodge Laramie/Longhorn diesel. Last week I send out my specifications to several parties...

how do they handle the sales tax if you are out of state? I live in California and I would fly out to Dillon and buy a truck no problem the sales tax is what I have always wondered about.
