- Geo_BoyExplorer IIIf it’s a 4 or more lane highway/interstate the left lane is for passing and no one should be in that lane unless your are passing another vehicle, period.

:D Truth!
I sure don’t miss the WA Left Lane drivers. Well, sometimes they are in MT, but they don’t seem to stay in the left lane long on I-90. Must the be the traffic whizzing by them. Even the dumb ones figure out they are in the wrong lane. - spectaExplorerThe self serving inconsiderate drivers are a tiny percentage of all the drivers on the road.
It would be awesome that when we were making our travel planes that we knew ahead of time how many inconsiderate drivers that were dragging their butts there would be on the road between the time we leave and the time we would like to arrive. - spectaExplorer

10 minutes for me when working can be a big deal. Not that it matters to anyone else.

It is an example of how much some inconsiderate person can effect someone who has a schedule rather it be a TC, TT, MH, passenger car, motorcycle or even a commercial vehicle.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. Please leave earlier or wait until it's safe to pass or wait until I get to the next pullout.

CA freeways are famous for "Left lane huggers" and CHP pass them on the right while not doing anything.
Have not been on the route for some time, but highway 50, connecting Sacramento with famous for weekends Lake Tahoe, is mountain, windy highway, where lot of cars drive well below speed limit just becouse the driver has no skills.
So every few miles the highway has passing lane. What the slow driver does? He speeds up on the wider stretch of the road, so nobody can pass him, only to hit brakes when passing lane ends and go slowly again.
The procedure did not change for 30 years I was living in CA and doubt it will change in next 30 years. - markchengrExplorer IILack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. Please leave earlier or wait until it's safe to pass or wait until I get to the next pullout.
