Shouldn't be too difficult as long a you don't cut into any roof trusses, air conditioning vent ducts, or wiring. Removing the fan first should allow you to take a look inside the roof cavity for any obstructions. Once you've found a suitable place I would start by cutting/removing the inner ceiling panel first. Then drill a small hole in each corner up through the roof. On the roof, cut the membrane in an "X" pattern and fold it back. Cut out the roof panel, fold the membrane back inside and install the skylight/ fan and seal.
