How I Fixed a Rotten Wing
Upon opening my 1998 Palomino Bronco truck camper I found some water had gotten into the passenger side wing and made a mess of the OSB board. Once it dried out I needed to figure a way to reinforce this area as this is the perch for the forward mounted jack.

Since the walls had not been compromised I needed to spread the load to them.
I welded up a "pan" out of 3/16" steel and bolted it to the wing under the cushions and to the sides of the camper.

These bolts have since been cut flush

The front panel of this camper is solid plywood and not OSB so it should be a good sturdy place to spread the weight

I resealed everthing on that side of the camper and made sure the drain holes in the window frame were clear.
I hope this is the end of leaks in this area....:(
