jimh. As a side note, my Dad had a 74 Ford 3/4 ton with a heavy 1972 12' cab over camper on it. The previous owner had apparently had a side to side issue on the beast, at the time I thought maybe "crown of the road" caused the decision, but as I think about it the fridge and wet bath were on the curb side. That previous owner had actually gone under the left front side of the bed mount and CUT ABOUT A QUARTER INCH OUT OF THE TOP OF THE FRAME! This dropped the street side a bit and it was always low on that driver's side.
