How many of you travel alone with a TT?

Hello,

Just wondering how many people travel alone pulling a TT, mines a 27 footer. I have done it once because my DW didn't want to go fly fishing.

Backing into a tight spot was a slow deliberate process and hooking the TV to the TT was also a slow deliberate process and so far I have not had any disasters, it kinda felt rather manly...:B

Happy camping!
  • I do pretty well alone, but I did crack a taillight lens on a signpost in Castaic CA. Backing on the passenger side is not easy.

Lenses darn hard to find, had to have Amazon ship one to a UPS store

My DW does the spotting very well except she keeps changing the hand signals...:h
  • I prefer not to be helped when backing in. Have to get out and see it for myself. Others help just confuses the issue.

    Absolutely, those things are huge!!!!
  • I am 52 and have always went camping by myself. Haven't had any real problems backing into a camping spot or setting up.

  • My 84 yr old Dad has been going out solo for many years. Once in a long while his wife goes with him. He bought a new toy hauler last fall to make it easier for him with his ATV (tired of having to unhook to get ATV out of truck).
