$30k is far more than I would pay for a 10 year old truck. A new 2005 Crew cab diesel truck could have been purchased for $30-40k at the time, with some loaded up ones in the $45k range. A similar 2015 mode is now about $10k higher. Here are some examples. Lower trim Gasser 2WD under $30k brand new, Diesel 4WD $40k, and loaded up $55k.
