If I have to pay approximately $60K (hopefully less) for a truck, I'd rather by one that's not been sitting around 2 years. So right now I'm working with a another dealer, just a little further away and I'm seriously considering purchasing one of his 2018 Diesel 2500 Laramies. I considered waiting for the 2019 but I'm always leery about purchasing a new revamped model and I figured that they'd be getting top dollar for them, but they sure look nice!
Find several sitting on the dealer lots you might be interested in. Walk in on January 31, and make a ridiculous offer. When they refuse, write down your name and number on a piece of paper, hand it to them and walk out the door. Go to the next dealer. One of them will be desperate for one more sale for the month.
