It isn't the price issue (a SB SRW to a LB DRW isn't that much a price jump.)
I'm looking at using this truck as a daily driver. Length-wise, an extended cab SB F-350 would have few problems where I park. However, a DRW long bed will be dicey at best, especially trying to avoid getting a dually's "hips" past the parking gate then around a sharp corner.
If I were looking for a truck just to keep the TC on 24/7, a diesel, LWB, crew-cab dually makes perfect sense, but i'm trying to balance the need for dealing with the day to day urban issue with a vehicle that is capable enough for a decent TC. No, it won't handle nearly as well as what is mentioned above, but unfortunately, I have to make compromises.
