I don't have a schedule I check the pressure to - but I do check it before longer journeys and vary the pressure for the type of journey. I will use different tyre pressure and be more diligent when travelling heavily laden thousands of miles on highway (I don't exceed 60mph) in the heat compared with A lightly laden camper travelling 30 miles on slow roads in cold weather.
I carry 2 tyre pressure gauges (one digital) with me and a decent compressor (clips onto battery, not a cheap car tyre inflator that uses the accessory socket).
