I have beaucoup solar, but I wouldn't part with my gennnies for the simple reason that.. tah dah.... the sun doesn't shine ALL the time! I don't care where you camp, there will be cloudy days. And, no, I don't believe your solar works 'almost as good' on cloudy days.
You either cut back your usage, or charge with a generator. Your choice.
