We boondock about 95% of the time. The only time we've had trouble was in state campgrounds. :) Do as others say, have a gun. Don't be stupid and put things outside the rig that tempt them to come and steal from you. Keep your car keys next to your bed. Nothing scares anyone better than the car headlights coming on (if yours does that) and the horn starting to honk. :) :) Have a great time.....it's our preference......we have privacy and quiet. :)
