How tight?

1/4 turn per instructions on my stabs...look at yours.They should have a sticker

I put each one down until it just touches the ground. Then I walk around the trailer again and give each ONE full turn. It works for me!

I have a FW....

After unhooking I run front legs up/down to level then lower them roughly 1" of travel.
Run rear stabilizers down until snug....I use 6X6 block under pads so that stabilizers have wider stance.
I then run front legs back up to level

I run mine down snug to the ground to keep from walking around inside the trailer and getting wiggles... I use 6X8 boards under mine. On my popup I have a level gauge close to the main door entrance which has to be level otherwise the door wont open and close freely. I like my POPUP roof to be just a tab lower behind the trailer so that water run-off from the air condition goes to the back of the trailer. The front of the trailer of course has the awning setup. I will adjust the front stabilizer to make my level gauge lever usually cranking on the rear front stabilizer some. Once it is level than I can install my popup front door assy. works every time when I see it level to start off with..

What you don't want to do is lift the trailer up using the stabilizer.

I'm with you on this Ryan. Never use your stab. jacks to level. Level the trailer side to side first with blocks under your tires then for and aft with your tounge jack. Then and only then bring your stab jacks down to stabilize.

1-1.5 turns after they make contact. If in one place for a long time I will go around and kick at the boards they are sitting on (to see if they are loose or have settled), if so then turn until snug.

My routine for TT.
Level side to side with wheel blocks.
Level front to back with tongue jack, slightly front down.
Lower rear stabilizer until touching ground (use plywood pads)
Raise tongue jack until level.
Done.

Did not use or need front stabilizers.

You guys must be hitting the gym hard on a regular basis because once mine touch the ground I can barely get half a turn.
