SIMILAR POST IN CLASS A BUT THEY QUICKLY INFORMED ME THEIR ANSWERS DON'T APPLY BECAUSE MINE IS A TT. So what do you think??? ...
I quit reading the Class-A forum completely when a post pops up in the "Newest" list. And definitely quit posting on there for the very same (similar) reason some time ago. I got a similar response one too many times that I have a TT and "basically" my opinion or suggestions were simply not welcome. It just re-enforced my decision I never want to own a CLASS-A if this is the group and the snobberish attitude that hangs out there, and you are "know it all's! OK, you don't get my opinion or help anymore, I don't hang out there. So I don't feel sorry when you have a problem. "B" and "C" campers are a much friendlier group! I can't say "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" if this offends a CLASS-A respondent and you just happen to be one of the "good guys!" I've lumped you all into one group!
For the OP, you're better off staying away from the CLASS-A forum.
I have thought hard about your situation, and the only solution I can wrap my head around is to use a jack and lift the camper like you are changing a tire. The put lumber under the wheels.
I do a lot of wood-working and carpentry work (not my occupation, but it's saved me thousands of dollars doing it myself). I have one rule I follow: If I need a tool, I go buy it. I may only use it one time, ever but I've had to Jerry Rig so many obstacles in my lifetime, I finally said, never again!
If you have to, buy the jack. You will use it again someday! It may be in a few years, but you WILL use it again! Guaranteed!
