How to order a 3500 to maximize payload?

Read these gvws that GM has out for 2020 models.
3500HD – 4WD SRW (lb. / kg):
11100 / 5035 – gas
11800 / 5352 – diesel
11400 / 5171 – gas
12150 / 5511– diesel
11350 / 5148 – gas (standard bed)
11500 / 5216 – gas (long bed)
12100 / 5489 – diesel (standard bed)
12250 / 5557 – diesel (long bed)
Now, all the weight cops, those that claim a diesel takes away from your gvw and those that generally believe that what engine is up front determines how much available payload you have left please explain the "published" numbers.
Do you think GM is putting magical components in the diesels or crew cabs to suddenly give them higher gvw numbers than the "lesser" trucks?
Or maybe, they're tired of hearing the same bs that many who don't understand tend to spew, so they upped the gvw of diesels and higher optioned trucks to keep the payload about the SAME!
More proof, don't over analyze something that doesn't need over analyzed.
