The last one I sold, I took a look at NADAguides.com and looked at their figures. Then I spent some time on google, listing the model and seeing what others were asking, if for sale. Finally came to somewhat of an average idea of what the market was asking. Not what they were actually selling for. If it is a current made unit, most RVs seem to be worth about half the original selling price at 5 years of age, if in good condition and well maintained. That certainly will vary from place to place. Here in the SE part of the country, a TC probably will bring $500 to $1,000 less than where you are now living in the mountain west. They are just not popular down this way, it seems.
