In my Northern lite I had water leaking from the front tie down location as well. I know you are fairly sure yours is a plumbing leak, but mine was the upper window leaking. The water worked it's way down to the tie down and leaked out.
Northern lites hide the water leaks well. Just as a safety measure look very closely inside the hampers beside the bed for any moisture signs, especially the front and the plywood strips screwed to the floor that's the frame of the cabinet. Next inside the upper shirt closets at the foot of the bed. An upper window leak will work it's way down to the front Jack mount location.
A dead giveaway on a Northern lite window leak is very slight rippling in the wall right at the bottom edge of the window. It's slight so can be overlooked.
Just like yours, mine would leak on one day and then not the next. Very difficult to figure out.
For trying to figure out if it's plumbing leak, If it was me I'd go multiple nights with the pump on to see if it was cycling. If that didn't give good results to point you in an obvious direction I'd try a pressure gauge tied into a line to see if pressure is dropping very slowly.
