I just went to the North American International Auto Show yesterday. I saw a 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Long Horn diesel crew cab 4WD with 1500 pounds of payload! I cannot remember what the 6.4L truck had. Just verify the as equipped payload when you are kicking tires on the truck you want. Look for this sticker when you open the driver's door:
